The Facilitator for this webinar is:

Becky Lathrop, CPIA, CIC

Becky is a Certified Insurance Counselor, a Certified Professional Insurance Agent, has a degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Florida State University, and has been working in the insurance industry for over 25 years. She has spent the majority of her professional career in industry positions such as Business Consultant, Sales Manager, Underwriting Consultant, and Portfolio Manager.

Since 1998, Becky has been helping agencies to grow profitably by counseling them in areas such as workflow management, staff organization and stratification, sales/marketing business plans, client retention, strategic planning, and producer compensation. She has developed and facilitates a Marketing/Profitability workshop to help agents manage their loss ratios and to assist them with capitalizing on agency growth and contingency bonus opportunities.


Important information about receiving and maintaining your CPIA Designation

  • Participants have 3 years from the date of their first Seminar to complete the three-part CPIA series.
  • Upon completion of the three-part series, CPIA Seminar attendees are notified of their completion of the CPIA designation requirements.
  • CPIA Designation Diplomas are prepared and distributed on a quarterly basis.

The CPIA designation requires an annual update. 

This update requirement can be satisfied by any one of the following:

  • Attend any one of the core CPIA Seminars

            CPIA 1 - Position for Success; 

            CPIA 2 - Implement for Success; or 

            CPIA 3 - Sustain Success

  • Attend any one of the Special Topic (advanced) Seminars

            Disaster and Continuity Planning for Businesses and Families

            An Agent’s Guide to Understanding and Mitigating Cyber Exposures

            An E&O Loss Control Program for All Agencies

  • Maintain Ruby, Sapphire, or Diamond level membership in the CPIA Program
